Who is labor caucus

It is our mission to increase participation of union members, their family and friends of Labor in all levels of the Democratic process. DPCF works to develop and promote core Democratic principles with members throughout Florida who work to strengthen the relationship between the progressive community and the Democratic Party. DPECF believes that the Democratic Party values public schools and that every child deserves a rich and comprehensive curriculum taught by well trained and well compensated teachers.

The Florida Democratic Senior Caucus was established to stimulate seniors, and others, to participate at all levels where issues affecting seniors should be addressed fully. The FDSC exists to assist county caucuses in organizing to better represent the needs and concerns of seniors on the county level.

The Florida College Democrats is a student run organization that focuses on the democratic development of students on college campuses across the state of Florida. Their mission is to promote the election of Democratic Veterans or Veteran advocates and encourage the participation of Democratic Veterans in the election process at all levels. The Florida Young Democrats is an organization dedicated to supporting young Democrats across Florida.

The Florida Young Democrats believe that the future of our party depends upon actively building political, social, and business connections between Democrats aged 40 years and younger. While none of these counties has a Democratic voter registration over 40,, they make up a large Democratic voting bloc in Florida. The Coalition strives to give our rural communities a voice and increasing participation in the Florida Democratic Party.

Technically creative, Jessica is an artist in a roomful of engineers and an engineer in a roomful of artists. When she is not capturing rasters, creating vectors, and navigating tight deadlines, she can be found cycling long distances between Lansing and the Mackinac Bridge, commuting on a fixed gear, and advocating for cycling rights and safety on our roads.

Vastly self-taught, he has been working in the e-commerce realm for ten years. He enjoys hiking, learning new skills, and anything that involves tech. Derek Dobies is the current Mayor of the City of Jackson.

As a city leader, he has spearheaded numerous policies that have worked to make Jackson a more tolerant, inclusive place that views diversity as a strength.

By partnering with local anchor businesses, the city is currently undergoing unprecedented investment and growth. Dobies has worked to ensure that this growth is equitable — and that traditionally underserved populations are able to participate in new opportunities in the city. While a smaller city, Dobies has helped to make sure that Jackson punches above its weight class: working to lead on issues of discrimination, poverty, fair housing, and criminal justice reform.

He aims to have the city lead in adaptive policies to confront climate change by working with area industry to make Jackson the Clean Energy Capital of Michigan. MyKale Kelly L. Prior to her ascension to Mayor, Ms. Garrett was Mayor Pro Tem from to Along with her work as a public servant, Ms. Garrett is passionate about serving the community through charitable service. Throughout her political career, Ms. Garrett has received numerous awards.

Garrett currently lives in Lathrup Village with her husband and sons. Angela Rogensues is the President of Ignition Media Group, a Detroit-based full-service brand and marketing agency that specializes in strategic matchmaking, experiential marketing, public relations and event production. Dedicated to philanthropy, Angela feels strongly that giving back to the community is one of the most imperative and rewarding aspects of being a leader in the city.

Angela is an advocate for working class and low-income families, animal welfare, civic engagement, and arts and culture and works alongside nonprofits and other organizations that have similar goals. He was officially sworn in as Mayor in December As a lifelong Trenton resident and product of the Trenton Public School system, he has been involved in many community projects and organizations.
