What happens if wolverine loses a limb

Learn More Got It! Marvel Comics. Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. James Franco. The Avengers. Fantastic Four. X-Men Evolution. Villains could lure Logan into a giant magnet. The frog would fare far better than Logan would. Because he has pounds of metal grafted to his skeleton, Logan would experience magnetic induction—the magnets spinning around him would create magnetic fields in his bones. You can see this slowing effect when you put a chunk of aluminum in an MRI machine and let it fall.

Villains could be far more devious. A prison with spinning magnets would keep Wolverine in place, but one with a giant electromagnet would melt him from the inside out. If you run an electric current through a coil of wire, the electricity creates a magnetic field. Put a piece of metal, or Wolverine, inside this coil and you can suspend it in the field. If you leave some metal in this setup long enough, the electrons bump and bash against each other to the point of melting.

Shut down the coil, and all you are left with is a puddle of metal, or, in perhaps this most scientifically accurate of villainous plans, a puddle of Wolverine. We will have to wait until July 26 to see how Wolverine fares without his regenerative powers.

But no matter what, any villain would have to be ingenious and devious enough to avoid the weapons Wolverine is most famous for. Beware the Snikt! Methos has already written a very detailed explanation of the healing factor in Wolverine Vs Science.

Maybe he can? He doesn't need to grow back bones, since they are adamantium, but he can regrow muscular, skin tissues, veins, capillaries, etc. Deadpool does it faster than Wolverine, but they both can regrow limbs.

In this forum I want to talk about biological nature of the healing factor. This, I wolud say a spirit problem. Wolverine killed so many peolpe that Death come to kill him. Logan has won and now when he dies he fights for his life.

When he wins he must have a body to enter. That is why he regenerated from skelet. But I think only Deadpool can grow arms back not him " I don't think so. Remember Deadpool has Wolverine healing, but its power was increased, so Wolverine can grow lims but slower than Deadpool. Mammals can not regenerate like that, but Wolverine is a mutant, maybe he has that ability.

Think about that. Sorry for my english. I guess bones do heal when they are broken, so you could argue that Wolverine should be able to regrow bones. Not "be able", he can. In many issues you can see how he lose bone claws and in another they are back. Claws are part of his skeletal structure if they can heal from broken claws to original state so can the other bones.

My guess is if he can be put back together after being ripped in half by the Hulk Thinking about this forum today I've found my answer. In that issue few of his organs were cut out, later they grow back.

This is great example of regeneration and thanks to regeneration salamanders can grow new limbs. I think I have my answer. For me forum is over but I'd still like to discuss about this if you want. I had this same question come up after reading Age of Ultron.
